Who I Treat
My doors are open to any and all who are in need Counseling, Therapy, or Support. I enjoy working with a variety of clients, including Individuals, Couples, Adolescents, Families, and Groups.
What I Treat
I view Therapy as a very human process, as well as a very sacred one. Each client is unique and each client deserves my respect as well as my compassion. I treat each client not as a combination of symptoms, but as a human being. I feel that labels and diagnoses are at odds with this philosophy, and that is why they will typically not be part of my therapeutic process. However, there are an infinite number of issues, events, and concerns that may bring someone into therapy. The following is a list of 'What I Treat'...
Addiction - Adolescent Issues - Aging - Anger Management - Anxiety or Fears - Career Issues - Death & Dying - Depression - Disabilities - Divorce/Separation - Gender Exploration - Grief & Loss - LGBTQ Support - Parenting & Family Issues - Peer Issues - Physical & Sexual Abuse - PTSD - Relationship Issues - Self-Esteem - Sexuality - Stress Management - Substance Abuse & Recovery - Trauma
